Coast Guard Publishes MSA for Fire Detection Systems

Coast Guard Headquarters has published a Marine Safety Alert (MSA) covering fire detection systems on Subchapter M towing vessels. This MSA provides vessel owners/operators excellent information and considerations for those using non-Coast Guard approved systems and Coast Guard type-approved systems.
