He has also served as Vetting Manager – North America at SeaRiver Maritime, Inc., and as a member of the National Safety Council Waterborne Transport Working Group and the American Society of Safety Engineers Professional. Captain David A. Foret, Jr.

David has over 30 years’ experience in the towing vessel industry, including 12 years onboard and more than 13 years spent in shoreside management before forming his own compliance firm in 1999. He holds a Merchant Mariner Credential endorsed as Master of Towing Vessels and Tankerman-PIC (Barge) Dangerous Liquids and Liquefied Gas cargoes, TVIB-Certified AWO RCP Auditor certification, and Crew Endurance Management Systems (CEMS) Expert. He has served on the Pilot Board Investigation Review Committee (PBIRC) representing the interests of the brown water towing vessel community for the past 15 years. Captain IJ Arora

IJ serves as the QMII team leader for consulting, advising, auditing and training clients in management systems, including many courses conducted for the USCG. He is a Master Mariner with a 32-year record of achievement in military, mercantile marine and civil management. He is also a motivational speaker for leadership using the system approach while promoting social responsibility. Captain Arora is a certified ISO 9001:2008 lead auditor with RABQSA and IRCA. He has successfully completed RABQSA Certified ISO 14001 Lead Auditor training. He is a lead instructor and consultant for security of the global supply chain using ISO 28000, C-TPAT and ISPS Code. He is a lead instructor for ISO 9001, ISM Code, Designated Person, Problem Solving workshops and the Ship/Company/Port Facility Security Officer course, which is recognized by USCG/MARAD, as well as several other Flag Administrations. He specializes in training of top management and preparing them for leadership roles. He has lectured in several universities and institutions in the US and abroad on process-based management systems, root cause analysis and problem solving and supply chain related subjects.
