SUMMARY:Annual Survey of Towing Vessels Course
DESCRIPTION:Course Summary: \nThe Annual Survey of Towing Vessels course  is open to those members and non-members. It provides surveyors with the knowledge and skills required to perform TVIB TPO Subchapter M annual surveys of towing vessels. It has been designed to teach those who will be performing surveys as a part of an internal survey program\, as well as those surveyors who wish to hold the credential to perform external surveys for TVIB. Everyone who successfully completes the course will receive a course completion certificate. This course is the surveying course required for those individuals seeking the TVIB Certified Subchapter M Surveyor for Annual Surveys credential. \nCourse Fee: \nNon-Members:   $1275 \nTVIB Members:  $975 \n*TVIB members & USCG receive a 25% discount when registering for the course.  Members can register through the Member Portal under the “Current Events” dropdown menu \nDocumentation: \nPractical exercises\, quizzes\, a final exam and active participation in class are required to earn your certificate. \nCancellation Policy: \nCancellations must be submitted one week (7 days) prior to the first day of the course.  Please note that a cancellation fee of $150 will be charged.  No refund will be issued for non-attendance without notification or for early withdrawal from a class.  Please send cancellation notifications to: info@thetvib.org \nClick Here to Register

DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss out on the bi-monthly “TVIB Talks” on September 28\, 2023.  This series will offer TVIB staff the opportunity to share the latest developments\, issues\, and trends related to Subchapter M and our perspective on those topics.  Equally important will be the opportunity for TVIB Members (TPO Customers and their staff along with TVIB Certified Auditors and Surveyors) to participate in the conversation by talking with us about the information presented and sharing topics of interest to them. \nThese 1-hour sessions will follow a bi-monthly schedule occurring at 2:00 pm on the fourth Thursday. \nTVIB Talks will be open to all TVIB Members.
