SUMMARY:Drydock/Internal Structural Examination Certification Course (VIRTUAL)
DESCRIPTION:The Drydock/Internal Structural Examination Certification course (3 day VIRTUAL course) is open to TVIB members and non-members alike. The course provides surveyors who plan to conduct Subchapter M drydock and internal structural examinations of inspected towing vessels with the tools\, skills and knowledge to complete these examinations\, and provides a path toward an industry-recognized credential. The course includes an online pre-course portion that MUST be completed prior to attending class. \nCourse Fee: \nNon-Members:   $1275 \nTVIB Members:  $975* \n*TVIB members receive a discount on TVIB courses.   \n\nAdditional Course Details: \nThe course is a live VIRTUAL event. Please ensure that you have a stable internet connection. Webcams are not required but are strongly recommended. \nDocumentation: \nPractical exercises\, quizzes\, a final exam and active participation in class are required to earn your certificate. \nCertification: \nIf you are planning to conduct DD/ISEs for Subchapter M vessels\, you will need to obtain a credential as a part of taking this class. If you are a new-to-TVIB surveyor\, seeking a credential to perform work on behalf of any TVIB customer\, please complete the External Surveyor Application. If you are planning to only perform DD/ISEs as a part of an internal survey program for your employer\, please complete the Internal DD/ISE Surveyor Application.
